Embedded Systems Conference this year became part of a much larger event Design West that covered besides ESC conferences on :  Android, BlackHat, DesignMed, LEDs, MultiCore and Sensors, attracting participation from 300+ cutting edge technology companies around the World (US, UK, Europe, Japan, Korea,Taiwan and India) in multiple areas of Embedded Technology for predominantly Silicon Valley audience.

Android event was towards seminars and demonstrations of Google's Android OS which is becoming a competitor of the Apple's iOS for Mobile Market. The Black Hat Summit was held to give electronics professionals a path to develop skill set for latest solutions on security using Embedded applications. It consisted of training courses on Network Security, Exploit Development, Incident Response and Web Application Security.

DesignMed was for the medical embedded applications and involved presentations, panel discussions and chat sessions on new developments in medical electronics design.

Multicore DevCon conference and exhibition was for companies to demonstrate practical solutions for designs involving embedded multicore and multimedia. The conference covered areas of applied multicore technology, and multicore software design strategies involving Multicore DSPs, Multiple DSPs, Multiple Transports, Multicore SoCs and Android on Multicore platforms.

Sensors in Design covered the latest technologies to enhance next generation systems which involved wireless sensor networks in applications such as battle eld sensing, energy management and cloud sensor networking from companies 3eTi, National Instruments and Microstrain. Innovative applications of sensors that present new ways to test, measure, monitor and beyond. Growth opportunities as MEMS industry, Android devices, iPads and E-Readers utilize sensor technologies. Sensor fusion allows for new ways to process data to enhance system capabilities.

Ascenten was amongst very few companies from India who could make it to the Embedded System Conference 2012.  The company was there to demonstrate its niche and new areas in embedded system, FPGA/MCU/DSP design services and some innovative offerings in design and products.  Company brought in for display some of the recent milestones it did in development like ultra low power designs capable of extending battery life to 20 yrs, 32 layer PCB designs, Power over Ethernet Technology, VDSL based high speed communications. Company's engineers at the booth took time and illustrated products, services and delivery of projects from conception to full development with topics  from hardware development to software development covering areas of APIs, Networking, Operating Systems, FPGA development.

Ascenten got a lot of attention from researchers, engineering directors and was approached by few of the top companies in USA and a possible tie ups is on the cards, overall it was a great event for the company.

Ascenten provides a large range of services in development of embedded and analog systems, integrated solutions for its B2B customers in Automotive, Medical, Measurement, Aerospace and Defense industries.
